Important Safety Information
GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide that stimulates growth hormone release. It is not approved for therapeutic use in the United States. While GHRP-6 has been used in human clinical studies and has a well-characterized side effect profile, repeated daily use for performance or physique enhancement falls outside any approved framework.
Because GHRP-6 affects cortisol, prolactin, and appetite in addition to GH, its effects extend beyond GH release alone. Long-term safety data in humans is limited.
Important
Non-Medical Use
GHRP-6 is not FDA-approved for human use. Any use outside of approved research or diagnostic applications falls outside approved indications. Product concentration and laboratory verification do not establish that non-medical use is safe or appropriate for an individual.
Potential Adverse Effects
GHRP-6 produces the most intense appetite stimulation among growth hormone secretagogues. Hunger begins within 15–20 minutes of injection and can be quite pronounced, particularly at doses above 200 mcg.
GHRP-6 produces moderate and transient cortisol and prolactin elevations. At standard doses, these effects are generally not clinically significant, but high-frequency dosing can produce cumulative cortisol exposure.
Other commonly referenced side effects include water retention, injection-site reactions, tiredness or drowsiness after injection, and occasional tingling or numbness in extremities. These effects are typically mild and self-resolving.
Conditions Requiring Medical Evaluation
Individuals with active cancer or history of cancer, pituitary tumors or disorders, uncontrolled diabetes, or active infections at the injection site should avoid GHRP-6. The long-term effects of chronic GHRP-6 use have not been established.
Because GHRP-6 can affect cortisol and prolactin levels, individuals with conditions sensitive to these hormones should exercise particular caution. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications due to lack of safety data.
Monitoring During Use
In research settings where GHRP-6 has been studied, monitoring has focused on GH response, cortisol, prolactin, and blood glucose levels. In non-medical contexts, individuals commonly reference periodic bloodwork to monitor hormonal and metabolic markers.
Laboratory testing of the product itself, such as the published potency report shown in the Lab Reports tab, is separate from any clinical monitoring of the individual.
Product Care
Storage & Handling
Lyophilized GHRP-6 should be stored tightly sealed in its original container, protected from light, and kept at -20°C for long-term storage. The peptide is hygroscopic and should be allowed to equilibrate to room temperature before opening to prevent moisture uptake.
Keep all peptides and injectable products out of the reach of children. Follow the storage instructions provided with the product packaging.
